Entries are open for the 4th International Nature Film Festival, which will be held on 25-27th of May, 2018!
Within the framework of the 2018 competition, two film reviews will be published again: the International Film Review and the Carpathian Basin Film Review. In addition to the section prizes of the Festival and the Festival Main Prize -offered and delivered traditionally by the Media Council-, several special prizes will be awarded on the Gala on Saturday evening. At the 2018’s Festival the total sum of the prizes will amount to €16.000. Special thanks to the supporters of the festival.
In 2017, nearly 300 films and several thousand guests arrived to Gödöllő from 58 countries. Awarded films of the Festival from May 2017 received a total of 98 international festival awards. International works won 71 prizes and 27 prizes have been won by Hungarian filmmakers.
The Festival and its accompanying events
At the same time (25-27. May, 2018), the National Nature and Environment Film Days will be held again in 2018, where outstanding Hungarian and international films will be screened in several major cities of the country (nearly 60,000 visitors in 2017).
In 2018, Trash Art Hungary recycling sculpture exhibition will be launched from Gödöllő and the Enchanting Hungary outdoor photo exhibition too. During the 3 days of the Festival we will welcome everybody for free screenings, public meetings and a variety of environment and nature conservation awareness programs, concerts and lots of novelties in Gödöllő and in many big cities in the country.
